Survey of 1,000 business people in their 20s and 50s nationwide on “persistence” (conducted in July 2009)
(*This is a play on words. Persistence is called “nebari” in Japanese, and the word “stickiness” is also called “nebari” in Japanese.)
When women and men in their 50s were asked about “persistence” in their 20s, 37.4% answered as “not persistent” and 51.4% answered as “somewhat not persistent”, which indicates that about 90% of respondents thought lacked persistence in their 20s.
