Dr. Fumiko Nishikawa and Mr. Junichi Ishida held the “Summer Thrombosis Prevention Class” talk show.
On July 4 (Wed.), the Association held a “Summer Thrombosis Prevention Class” at MARUCUBE, located on the first floor of the Marunouchi Building in Marunouchi, Tokyo.
The talk show featured Dr. Fumiko Nishikawa and Mr. Junichi Ishida. The risk of myocardial infarction and cerebral infarction increases sharply when the temperature exceeds 32℃, and the talk provided easy-to-understand information on the proper knowledge to prevent thrombosis in the summer.
Dr. Nishikawa suggested frequent hydration and lifestyle improvements for specific prevention of blood clots, while explaining that since the term “prevention of blood clots” sounds difficult, it would be easier to continue thinking of it as “anti-aging of blood vessels.”
In addition, Professor Mitsuhiro Ota, Vice President of Kobe Pharmaceutical University, appeared on stage to give an easy-to-understand explanation of Nattokinase.
From the press conference during “Winter Thrombosis Prevention Month,” Mr. Ishida, who has been taking the Nattokinase supplement, commented, “I have been taking it since winter and now I am much better and living well.”
From late June to early July, we have been actively educating people about summer thrombosis prevention through newspaper advertisements and campaigns. We hope that this campaign will reduce the number of thrombosis patients.
